OhSht started with a simple, universal problem: needing a restroom, fast, in a place I didn't know. Map apps could point at a pin — they couldn't tell me what waited behind the door. So I started building the thing I actually wanted to exist.
It's a solo project today, in public beta, based in Reno, Nevada. There's no company behind it yet, no team, no office — just one person shipping something useful and listening closely to the people who use it.
The philosophy is simple: ship something genuinely useful before it's clever, keep the data people give you to the absolute minimum, and let the product earn trust through speed and accuracy — not ads, not accounts, not noise.
