Do I need an account?
No, and you never will. Open OhSht and search — there's no sign-up screen because there's nothing to sign up for.
Is my location tracked?
Location access is optional and used only to show restrooms nearby, in the moment. It isn't stored against any identity, because OhSht doesn't have one for you.
How accurate is the information?
It combines open map data with community reviews and reports. It's usually good and occasionally out of date — hours change, businesses close. Use your judgment when you arrive. See the Safety & Accuracy Disclaimer.
Can I add a restroom that's missing?
Yes — use the Add button in the app. Every submission helps the next person make a faster, better decision.
Is OhSht free?
Yes, and there are no ads. If you'd like to support development, there's an optional "Buy us a coffee" link in the app — never required.
What if a listing is wrong?
Email hello@ohsht.app with the details. See the Business Correction Policy if you're the owner or operator of a listed location.
Who's behind OhSht?
A solo founder, based in Reno, Nevada, currently running OhSht as an independent project in public beta. See About.
