Business Correction Policy

Own a listed location? Here's how to fix it.

Effective July 8, 2026

OhSht's map includes locations and details sourced from open map data and community contributions. If you operate or own a listed location and something is wrong, here's how to get it corrected.

What we can correct

  • Incorrect hours, location, or contact details
  • Inaccurate access information (e.g., "key required" when it isn't, or vice versa)
  • A listing that no longer exists or has moved
  • Duplicate listings for the same location

What we won't remove

We won't remove a legitimate, guideline-compliant review just because it's negative or unflattering. Honest community feedback is the reason OhSht is useful. If a review violates our Community Guidelines or contains false factual claims, it may be removed under our Content Moderation Policy — not simply because a business disagrees with it.

How to request a correction

Email hello@ohsht.app with the location name, a link or description of the listing, what's incorrect, and what it should say instead. If you're the owner or an authorized representative, say so and, where reasonable, include something that supports that (like a business email domain matching the location).

What to expect

OhSht is currently run by one person. We review correction requests personally and aim to act on clear, reasonable ones quickly, but there's no guaranteed response time yet. As the project grows, this process will get faster and more formal.
