Accessibility Commitment

Built for every body.

Effective July 8, 2026

Restrooms are an accessibility issue as much as a convenience one. OhSht takes that seriously in both the product itself and the information it surfaces.

Accessibility information as a first-class feature

Wheelchair accessibility, family/companion rooms, baby changing stations, key requirements, and gender-neutral facilities are surfaced directly on every listing, not buried behind extra taps. This information is reported by the community and should be confirmed on arrival when it matters most.

Product accessibility

  • High-contrast, dark-mode-first design built for readability in bright sunlight and low light alike
  • Touch targets sized for real-world use, not just visual polish
  • Clear, plain-language labeling over icons alone
  • An ongoing goal of meeting recognized accessibility standards (such as WCAG) as the product matures

Being honest about where we are

OhSht is a solo-founder project in active development. Accessibility work is ongoing, not finished — there will be gaps, and we'd rather say so than claim full compliance we haven't verified.
